Looking at getting the clear body to paint haven't seen many custom painted ones, £105 for the body and the paint

I built my own Shirois.
The left one i built on a Kagama chassis with ADU braces. The one on the right is on a 7075 Kronos chassis with Muraco layout.

It’s spread tow carbon fibre using e6000 epoxy. 1st time trying it so 1st few pieces where bit messy this carbon just falls to pieces when cut it but figured out a technique now so be neater going forward.

Fully rate the dedication to keep that body decent looks good think I might just stick with the plasterboard mesh and shoe goo for now

Well I didn’t protect the last body & it’s now in 2 pieces so trying to avoid that happening this time round.

The shirois chassis is based off a kagama isn't it just with spark arms ? Bet they both nippy then

Yes, the Shiroi body has some weak points. Mine looks like Frankenstein after a couple of fixes with expoy, hot glue and staples. Have a painted clear body ready once the Frankenstein is beyond repair.

JConcepts do quite a few sct bodies cheaper options than corally. Nearly got this carbon reinforcement done need pet this side dry before tackle the other job for tomorrow now.

Yeah that's for sure even though it's a fairly thick body definitely needs the reinforcement, literally one of my next jobs is either staples or thin cable ties don't see many custom painted shirois to be fair
