So being the perpetual tinker and trying different things, have thought about wide arm options for the punisher4 and corresponding parts from other vehicles to make this happen. Saw a vid on youtube where a guy did it using Asuga xtr arms and looked pretty cool. Whatchu you all think? Has anyone done this yet on here?

I have Asuga arms on my Punisher. The upper arms require trimming to fit. I ground the backsides off of the inner mounts till they fit. I probably got the same idea from the same video. The wheels are Arrma 6s Backflips.

Nice!!!! Any side shots? Also, what ya do for gearing? Mine with stock tires or with my Hyrax tires that are a smidge smaller running a 15 or 16 to pinion loves to run hot. Thats with fan motor etc.....

I run a 2050kv truggy motor and a Castle ESC with a 16t pinion and 6s Backflip wheels. The stock electronics were pulled out before its first drive. I've been at this for a while and my junk bins are well equipped.

Put wide arms on your making a 4s Jambo/dementor
That would involve new shock towers, shocks, wing mount, and a complete brace set. Plus the a-arms, links, and driveshafts. At this point I'm not far from what a 6s Kagama costs. Did I mention wing mount? I already own an army of 6s trucks so I'm good.

I was replying to the thread not to you specifically but your not necessarily correct, if you’ve fitted Asuga arms but not changed your shock towers, shocks , bracing etc if look at pic (Kronos/asuga) can see shock towers from vehicles with wide arms not much different geometry to Asuga so prob get away with wide arms too if wanted to without changing everything else
