Yaaaa I did see that esc and thank you for the link! I wanted to venture into off brand esc and motors. I read that the esc I showed is a rebranded max5... ill try to find that info

I know it's lower in specs but is this the Older model or?
It’s a smaller esc probably equivalent to a max8 be rolling the dice putting it in something large scale. I would take what scale they rate esc for with a pinch of salt. Compare size of it to equivalent esc you’ll get idea what scale it for. If looking at xc-esc for something large scale be the e6 pro 300amp or e5 pro 250amp best options imo. E6 is smaller esc despite larger amp rating. E6 pro Maybe should have been my choice the e5 is bit of a monster 😂 but it’s gonna fit 🤞

Amp ratings on ESCs are kinda bulshite no matter the manufactuerer that's why Castle refuses to list amps at all and just rates their ESCs by vehicle weight.

I have an E5 Pro and it can propell a 28lb car at 62mph on 12S only hitting 130A and barely getting warm, lots of headroom for gearing up.
