I got it today. Barely unboxed it, really sweet looking.

However, I’m really turned off by the noname cheap Chinese tires. They feel like a low end, almost vinyl like rubber. Something like you would find at a china store, even worse than harbor freight. Compared to stock Kraton tires, I cannot believe they would put that garbage on a limited run RC truck…

Damn i was hoping to find something that'll take the 4990 can and not be sluggish as I hear a 1/5 would be. I guess I'll have to get grinding sooner then later. I'm crazy busy with my work so doing is hard but when I can.... ohhh it's like a wet dream lol.
In case you want to fit an 4990 Motor I can offer you some parts that will work without grinding. Have a look at the "stock Kagama overheating" topic, I described the 3D printed parts.
I will make a post about the complete 8S conversion soon.

I had a hard time last week since I already have a maxed out Kagama with a Max6 4990 running on 8S. I was struggling since I also had the silver (does not fit to gold/black) Vitavon Wheel Hubs and the whole Kagama was tuned for running 8S (4Mio CPC Center Diff,...). But I was always thinking about 7075 Upgrade parts vom Adu, M2C and did not buy them. In the end I couldn't resist and bought the blue limited. I am still having a bad conscience and I have to figure out how I will justify the purchase for myself. Perhaps one Kagama will be for my 4year old daughter (my wife probably won't follow that argumentation) or I will either keep it as spare, will build one ultimate 8S setup and one "secondary" one that will be for spare parts, my daughter or for sale....

I told the wife my Kagama Xp is hers now since I got the new one... she laughed and walked away saying nice try justifying buying that but it didn't work... but A+++ FOR THE EFFORT 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Well will be in touch my friend 😁😁

I just received my blue LE Kagama and I am positively surprised by the body colour and the light golden accents (I initially planned to make a custom one in Gun Metal Green with golden Details).
I will drive and use the Kagama (not a shelf queen) but I was wondering whether It makes sense to pay 150€ for a 7075 chassis without the limited number. Since I am planning to use the Kagama and all the expensive 7075 components (except electronics which will be swapped against the Max6 Combo) will be used anyway, I was wondering whether I really makes sense to keep the only limited thing (the chassis) in new condition.
I have no idea for used prices of limited editions and I did not buy it for the reason. Any suggestions or thoughts?

Don't run the chassis with LE number - get another and ideally, add a chassis protector to reduce scratches. 100% keep your original chassis safe and pristine on a shelf. 👍

That body has a great colour scheme - it looks better in your photo than any of the retail listings I've seen. 👌🤩

Thank you for the advice. Regarding potential reselling value: This means you assume that the value without scratches on the LE Chassis will be about 150€ or higher? Then this would definitely make sense with the replacement chassis (which I can get for only 110€ Euros in black (also 7075).
By swapping the bodies I also realised that my shock tower of the old Kagama should be replaced anyway so this reduces my bad conscience regarding the (objectively) unnecessary LE :D

Thank you for helping me with the decision. Just ordered a LE spare Chassis from the Corally homepage and can soon hopefully enjoy driving the LE.
I am still not sure whether I will use my "old Max6 G2 with the 4990SD on 8S or the newer and pretty LE motor on 6S (no SD, only 6S but at least better Cooling than the stock Kagama motor.

Gotta try the new motor 1st & it has the carbon mount for twin fans so cooling shouldn’t be an issue

Great video - shame about the radio. What a PITA.

There's only one radio I'll use:

After 20 years of flawless service, reluctantly, I'm thinking of pulling the trigger on this:

No glitches. No range issues. Straight forward to use. Lot & lots of coin though. 😅

Hello,
Just a quick information I received from the Corally Support:
The limited Motor, ESC and Body (!!!) will not be available for purchase. A broken body can only be replaced by the original XP body.
I bought a second Chassis Plate to protect the unique limited one from scratches.
But for the purpose of maintaining at least a bit of the Limited Edition Value this now means that at least the body should also be replaced for bashing. I am just mentioning this since many comments stated that the Chassis Plate is the only unique LE part. This in my opinion wrong since the Limited Motor, ESC and Limited Body cannot be replaced.

Best regards
Marii
