Cheers bro! 🤩

I've got a feeling you're about to modify your 8S Kraton. 😉

I'll be sure to get some video of this rig running. I have plans on getting this to put in it later this year:

Whoa, that looks fast sitting still!😎
Yeah, I really want to make the K8 tighter and stronger. I always hear 1/5 enthusiasts say the Arrma isn’t a true 1/5, and they’re right. Arrma skimped on some critical areas that really hurt durability and even handling. IDK how far I can go, cash strapped and IQ challenged isn’t helping me, LOL. See where it goes I guess.

Cheers buddy! It ain't no slouch by 1/5th scale standards. 😉

But it 'needs' more power. Purely to satisfy an irrational and arbitrary goal of hitting a top speed of 60mph.

1/4 scale enthusiasts got annoyed with FG and their 1/5 scale offerings. FG enthusiasts got annoyed with Bajas because they sold in huge numbers and weren't 'proper'. So I got a Baja and got annoyed because I didn't have any money 💰 any more.

Literally no other car I've ever owned has required so many 'essential' items. Tyres, clutch, clutch carrier, brakes, shock shafts. But it's a joy to hone them. So many different shades of perfection. 🤩

I liked the big Kraton, but the main issue I had was lack of space. Not a problem any more, but I still have to run things by the 'boss'. 😅

These rigs, pretty much whatever you choose are a blank canvas. These bigger rigs can run on rougher ground and have a very satisfying feeling in relation to handling. The Baja in particular is very rewarding/challenging.

From a pure performance perspective, I think 1/8th is the sweet spot, but there's something about these bigguns. 😁

Time to take the brushless rigs out! 🤩😁

The T2E was flawless and was really interesting to compare back to back with the Kronos, both running 6S Onyx packs.

The sweeps on the T2E were cold and could be smoked at pretty much any speed. Geared for appropriately 60 mph, the Truggy had gobs of power and was super fun to drive. Despite the lack of traction with the tyres, the T2E's agile responses made it predictable to catch every slide.

Easily hitting 57mph without really trying, in a surprisingly small area of dusty tarmac.

As the sun sets, I thought it would be nice to get this shot.
