Corally have dropped the punisher4, definitely prefer the bodyshell & paint scheme over the kagama4. No prefix for punisher in title so used sketer

I didn’t do a super close comparison but they both share the same wheelbase(327mm) and wide hubs. What’s the point in having basically the same truck besides a body shell?

It’s like they are trying to saturate their own market lol. I think if they were to release a shorter wheelbase version of these trucks they’d get a little more attention because as they sit now they are just not very fast. The sketer tires are terrible for 4s bashing.

Yeah, bit wierd. They should've just released this as the Sketer in the first place IMO. I would love to see a 4s Jambo/dementor. I don't really get why they haven't made a SWB with all the improvements from the newer models, either 4s or 6s. Would be a good competitor to the Outcast/Noto.

It's a good looking rig. I wouldn't of looked at the Kagama 4 but now this is tempting especially for the price point

Maybe their working on updating their 6s line. Wouldn't mine seeing a re-released Shogun, Muraco or Jambo

They haven’t had a truggy in the lineup for a while now well overdue

Just needs a pinion change for under $10 and it makes a big difference

I put a hobbywing 4268 2500kv combo and went up in pinion and my sketer was still slow. I’m gonna try going up one more tooth and maybe splurge for some of those low profile 3.8 badlands and see how it goes.

Only upgrade 15t pinion n looks impressive to me

The punisher4 body is so much better than the kagama 4, I just got the omni terminator 2 days ago, I've already got a sketer a asuga Syncro4 kronos and a spark
I literally had my fingers on the order button for the kagama 4,but for some reason I got the terminator instead, I'm so glad I did, as soon as modelsportuk has the punisher4 in stock, I'm all over it, the blue looks gorgeous

Definitely one corally best bodyshells it & dementor probably best truck bodies they’ve done but it would have to be the red/black for me.

I personally think that tc had to release a 6s street basher. I own a Sketer (fully pimped) so why realease a punisher 4s if you can buy the Sketer. I know she is heavy but the parts are from a 6s. Is it that much better then a Sketer? Thats just my thought. Same goes for the Kagama 4s. TC bring something completely new please instead of rereleases. Love the brand ofc. Only run TC but sometimes i think, i need a Arrma Infraction. But i wanna stick to TC

The infraction is hard to beat, just so many options out there to build it how you want it, I love my tc's but lack of aftermarket support sucks.

But don’t all these new trucks have a lot of upgrades and impoverishments from the skeeter? Also drive train capable of taking 6s with motor and esc change with all part just about interchangeable with the new line up and a bucket load of upgrades?

Not exactly. In some areas the Sketer is better, in some areas the Kagama4 is better. Sketer has true 6S driveline, more tuneability, adjustable links, better motor mount. I think alloy center diff too? Kagama4 has better bracing, double Ackermann bar, more durability overall (except the B/C blocks), but less adjustability and a much more plasticky feel. And of course a lot cheaper!

Miss my Infraction, sometimes...had that same livery, and a very quick Hobby Wing Max 6/1650 combo in it. At the time, Hoons rubber was about all that worked well on the car. Thing was a missle...that ate tires like nothing I'd seen before. :D

Maybe Corally figured out that not many cared for the look of the Kagama livery, and decided a strategic re-name and facelift would help sales. They could sell off existing Kagama 4 inventory, then quietly discontinue the Kagama 4.
