Went and ordered a Lee Springs LC 085J 0 M for my servo saver.
I've been running a fully locked up saver and that's probably foolish.
And what's the point of a good servo if I can't run it properly? Out of the box my saver only had maybe 1/2 turn before it fully locked, so maybe I got an extra-trashy spring? Or maybe that's a normal OOB setting for the saver ? Not much to work with, tightening-wise I mean.
So, I guess it was foolish to fully lock up the saver. And foolish not to pay $35 for a new spring. D*mn $20 handling fee.
I've never worked on a servo saver before and am unsure of how to go about removing it from the chassis. I guess I have to take the front end apart as if I was attempting to get to the Ackerman bar?
I looked through the instruction manual, but the servo saver is only pictured in a separate part of the exploded view diagram. I'm not really sure how to go about extracting it from the vehicle.
Any assistance would help.
Thank you.
