Pictures of other bodies on the Corally Kagama

Was never a fan of the kagama body until saw custom painted one transformed look of it. Corally punisher, Hpi Savage, traxxas sledge, Arrma Kraton bodies all fit with a little modification I guess any truck body probably fit with a little bit of modification. One coolest looking bodies Ive seen recently is on an rc brand new to me , Team Magic & the E6 III BES (bird eating spider) the body ain’t cheap I’ve looked and would probably need to remove cage in kagama to get it to fit, check out kaos rc see vid on it if interested or Aussie rc has few vids of older model.

Tamiya Metallic Blue ( 3 1/2 cans) backed with bright silver. That's my baby! She goes as good as she looks 😉

Corally punisher with Proline 2500 Chevy Silverado for a Kraton. Kraton bodies fit the Kagama/punisher/Kronos without much modification.

Sits well with the wing mount too.... I guess like mentioned any 1/8 bodyshell.. I do wish they still made the Shogun shell, best looking corally for me

What modification is needed? Some reaming or body post swap? Also looking for a new body.
 
I moved the body post from the back of the front shock tower, to the front. Just swung them around, lol. If you can find longer post, you probably wouldn't need to do that.

Different depending on body ie Kraton think body posts holes just need reamed out a little, punisher I think may need trim around bumper nothing to major.

They look great. What about fitting a truck/truggy shell to the Python/Radix with or without the rear spoiler. I have fitted different shell to a 1/10 buggy after removing the said spoiler but not tried 1/8 yet as I have no shells. Didn’t want to buy one unless it was possible. Idea! Would a Typhon shell fit, I have seen lots of custom painted shells for these but none for the Python. I still love the power it has and the upgrades, I would just like it to look different.

If you swap over to punisher/Kronos shock towers, you can fit almost any body. I swapped my radix shock towers and run a Jambo body

Is that a 4s kraton or 6s shell on the Kagama, thanks
 
I guess this post should go here...

Ill be honest I am not a fan of the Kagama4 shell it looks like something halfway out of SNES F-Zero or something that might have been sold by Nikko or Tomy in 1986.

Punisher shell looks moderately better and most Arrma shells look much better.

I'm also not a fan of parting with large sums of money for something that weighs the same as air 😂 but fortunately I found this on eBay for 18 quid .

I'm not quite so repulsed looking at it... Not done yet, needs trimming around the arches, I'll stick a lump of foam between the roof support and the roof, add some skids maybe and then tape and shoe goo
