Hi All, took car out today and thought I would really spend some time trimming up the steering no matter what I tried it just would go straight if you turn the wheel to left returns straight but if turns to right then does not go back straight

See attached video if you look at the front right wheel you can notice it more

Anyone got any ideas

Thanks Guys

I think the servo is weak and not centering properly.

It might be worth tightening up the servo saver spring as well.

Check to see if anything is binding up or bent.

Is it a stock servo .....🤞😝

check for binding in your servo saver, posts, pillowballs and steering linkages. All of those should have an effect on both left and right, but lets hope its a freak occurrence so that you don't have to replace an expensive servo.

Best of luck!

I tightened the servo saver I think it has made it slightly better but I think the tracking is out too which it not helping the situation.

Thanks for all the good advice as always

Just wondering if you checked your Pillow Balls like Vaportrail mentioned? If one side is tight she could be stopping it that little bit.. Out of curiosity did you try the servo on 7.4v?

Yes the pillow balls are fine steering is nice and loose.

I have not changed servo from standard settings, worth a try a guess how do you do that ?
Thanks

Hi Ian,

Do you have a hobbywing programme card? You can get them cheap as off AliExpress. I just got one for a mate of mine(let me know if you need a link)
Or you can grab your manual and on one of the early pages it'll have the ESC settings and the options you have for each setting parameter. It's where you adjust punch, brake and reverse force etc. You use the set button on the on off switch.. Program card is much easier if you get one. It plugs in where your ESC fan plugs in on the ESC itself. Gently pull the fan plug out with long nose (I can't use my sausage fingers 😁) and plug in the program box lead and you'll be away.

Cheers
Mark

Hi Ian, something weird is going on because I search my end here in Sydney Australia then when I copy it to reply it takes something that's 13 dollars and will tell you it's 59 and I reckon it's because this forum is overseas from where I am.. Here's a screenshot of what you'll see if you search hobbywing program card on AliExpress

Hi Ian,

That's awesome mate glad you have it sorted. Look forward to hearing how you went getting it adjusted. I was just reading another thread about the weak Corally servo saver spring on another thread so I'm curious to see if there's a readily available spring that will fit that will tighten it up a little. The guy said the stock spring is easily compressed in your fingers and I didn't realise it was so weak. Best of luck mate..
