I got another used unit tearing it all the way down and rebuilding the kronos xtr
Ran into some diff issue so few day to get some stuff in the mail I will be back to it

Looks better than my XTR, before you even started, LOL.
What does the note on the box say? Bring me back to life? That's funny, mine is in way worse shape and still rips!! Heck, I haven't looked at a diff in it in probably 2 years.. just send it!! LOL.
Besides, the cost of a full rebuild far exceeds the cost of a complete new rig. Personally I don't have an attachment to the Kronos, I'll take a new Kagama just the same. I like both.
Look forward to seeing the resurrection though!😁👍🍻
 
Can’t wait to see how this goes. The XTR is for sure my favorite rig. It is so capable! I can rip around the neighborhood, drive it through dense grass at the park, or pull my kids down the road on their scooters.
Make sure you tell us all the upgrade parts so we can find them if we want to put them on ours 👍
 
Wow. Excellent build. Are you using stock front/rear diff housings? My XTR just started doing a strange clicking under hard breaking…I looked all the diffs over and they are all looking good. But I swear it sounds like the teeth are skipping. Maybe the diff house is flexing…that is why I am wondering if you have an upgraded part.

Adu vitavon and corally all make aluminum housing but those are new diffs from jennys rc off a spark I wanted the 46t spur on center to pair with 20t pinion on that 1650kv. And yea you probably stripped one of the front diff mount screws or the poly is warped it is possible you may need a shim if your bevel is worn
