A friend I grew up with had one of those. Way back in the depths of my noggen, I remember us taking turns spinning that bugger up and sending it down his LONG, STEEP driveway.
It never made it very far before tumbling off to one side or the other. His driveway was paved, but rough and undulating. Was in rural northern Ca. I haven't thought of that since 1979-80 or so. Thanks for the memory jog.

I didn't have one, but my cousin did, and we loved that thing! Going down stairs were awesome.

Holy sh!t, were we seperated at birth? We set up makeshift ramps on the street and jumped over kids or bicycles layingno. The ground between the ramps. My best friends bike seperated in half on one of those jumps! I don't know how any of us survived...Evil Knievel was my superman. Surprised I didn't kill myself jumping my bike.
