welcome to the sale of my Traxxas X-Maxx 8S monster truck Belted Version.
ive just had the truck apart for cleaning & servicing, the following jobs have just been completed in the 1st week of June 2026.
- all diffs taken apart for inspection, cleaned and rebuilt with fresh gaskets/bearings where needed and new fluid.
20k in front diff
30k in rear diff
20 million in center diff
- steering assembly removed & stripped then ran through my ultra sonic cleaner, then reinstalled with new bearings. ive also fitted a genuine traxxas stiffer spring. original spring included.
- new cush drive assembly fitted along with standard gearing 54t spur & 18t pinion. these are not the hardened version, suggest if you plan on using the truck hard to upgrade to the hardened version. I can help with this if you wish,please ask.
- high tensile bolts added to upper and lower arms, a common problem is the original capture screws are not up to the job. all original pins/screws included in the sale.
- 3D printed center shaft support fitted to help prevent it bending during jumps. center shaft was inspected and is fine, just future proofing it for the new owner.
- brand new genuine traxxas orange body (only fitted for photos,never been used on the truck)
- 4 x brand new Belted sledgehammer wheels & tyres fitted
- brand new in packet GPM progressive springs in orange (unfitted)
all accessories & spares are included, original box and manuals present. original speed gearing present in sealed packet.
truck obviously shows signs of use but is certainly not abused, mainly used on gravel/dirt.
esc and motor work as they should, no red warning lights or strange noises present.
suspension moves freely without any binding.
collection preferred so new owner can see the truck running but I am willing to post.
due to nature of hobby I cannot offer returns.
LE10 hinckley area
as you can see from the pics, its a really well kept example with alot of the main work already done for peace of mind to the new owner.
no batteries or charger included as I need them for my other xmaxx.
