I hit thermal shutdown today and was unsure of the best next step. Was about 90 degrees outside and had been pushing the Sketer quite hard on a 15 tooth pinion with the stock speed control.

Is it best to just shut it down immediately or leave it running so the fan provides some cooler air?

Shut it down. Had the same. Went back to 14t. Did not try it yet. Hope it helps with the heat.

Do you have a measured speed with the 15 gear pinion? Yesterday I measured mine, and was slightly disappointed, because it didn't go over 74 km :/

Eventually i upgraded the Esc and motor. I went the expensive way. 6s motor. Running 4s only.
