I don’t know what the stock motor of the ZD is, but that TC motor is a bit less powerful that it’s looks. Reason is that the end of the motor acts as heatsink, since TC motors tend to run hot. So it’s a ‘shorter’ (TC’s Kuron 825 🤷‍♂️) motor in a longer casing. Since the Kuron 825 is a fast motor, the Grizzly should also be plenty fast.

You have upper arms on the rear suspension?
Please tell me how you did that?
How it’s designed, never looked at these before but has to be the one the cheapest if not the cheapest 1/8 trucks I’ve seen.

I just found this on AliExpress: £346.07 | ZD Racing 9021 V3 / MT8 Pirates3 1/8 Scale 4WD Brushless RC Car - 90km/h RTR/KIT Truggy w/2.4G Radio

This car is what led me and my son to Team Corally. It's very cheap and handles extremely well, but that's where it all ends.

Look at it sideways and something breaks. We were forever ordering new parts for them, constantly waiting and spending, spending, spending.

In the end, we realized it was false economy, and after much research, settled on the Kagamas

We now have 2 LE's, 1 standard 6s, and a Kagama 4.

I will run the Grizzly in the Pirates3 until the next thing breaks, then remove it and bin the car.

It was fun at first, but in hindsight, it was a total waste of money.

I don’t think you can get replacements of the le motor/esc even under warranty so treat it with a little more caution if that’s even possible lol
Yea,i thought about that, saw a listing the other day some guy in germany asking 400 euros for the grizzly motor esc combo,Yikes!
