Sketer Something went pop

So had a couple of beers managed to put positive and negative back to front on the 4 cell and the sketer started to shoot flames and smoke out of the esc and capacitors so I swapped them back and pop. So max 8 I'm thinking with the original motor for now

Scared the crap out of me I don't know why but when it started to flame up I pulled the battery out and then threw it across the yard it then went missing in the garden I found it today and had to resolder new plugs on the old ones had nearly been melted back to the end of the lead. Amateur hour at its best glad no one had a phone out recording

Dude don't feel bad that had happened to most of us with the same reaction. Glad nothing more was damaged, besides now you can upgrade!!!

You'll have to solder new leads on the motor. Max8 connectors are larger. Might as well just get the combo.

I ended up with the original esc again when I spoke to the lhs he sent me another one cheap
