When it comes to soldering I would suggest spending as much as you are comfortable on a good set up. I don’t want to give specifics because that all depends on your budget. As for actually solder videos if you just search the specific connector you are wanting to solder on YouTube there will be a ton of useful vids. Best of luck. Cheers.

I have the big brother to that second one and its awesome, love the heat shrink gun it beats the lighter any day, it also came with a backup heating element in case the first one goes. I hakio does get awesome reviews though.
i have a pretty good Yihua but i heard good things about the Corally branded one, have no idea if it's available for 110v though
