Setting endpoints for steering

Hi

Is there a simple explanation video/guide to setting steering endpoints?

I cant seem to grasp what I need to do.
I will be using a dumbo rc transmitter

What I do is slowly turn to one side and watching the steering on the car. At the point where the cars no longer turns, but you can still turn on the transmitter I set the endpoint. You most likely also hear the servo struggling at that point and trying to move inside the servo mount.
Repeat when turning to the other side.

How do you set them?
 
bottom left dial on that, turn it down until you run out of steering wheel movement the same time you run out of road wheel travel
 
One thing that I would like to add to the excellent information given above is to reduce the endpoints by 10% on each end after you find them. The reason is that 1.You don't need full lock-to-lock on most cars 2. When things get knocked out of alignment, bent, whatever, that 10% gives you some overhead 3. You may end up making adjustments that affect lock-to-lock like droop settings, Ackerman locations, etc.

I have found myself on the wrong side of not having enough overhead and hurting things prematurely enough times that I thought it was worth a mention. I bend pillow balls, hinge pins, and even lower control arms enough without noticing and the 10% has saved my servo time and time again. I used to kill them monthly and now it is much less and when they do go, its not due to end point adjustment, it is due to a rapid unscheduled disassembly event.
