Does anyone know where I can get a stiffer servo saver spring for my kagama 6s. The stock spring is to weak.

I just upgraded my Spark and Kagama4 with them and wow amazing how much better they both steer

It's always amazed me how weak the servo saver springs are on rigs - and it's not limited to the modern RTR stuff either. It's an age old thing. The Savage had a terrible servo saver. It literally gave zero steering and had to be swapped out with a different truck's steering - the monster pirate.

It's generally less of an issue on 1/8th race Buggies and Truggies which seem to have proper, pre-loadable springs from the get go.

Somebody mentioned that thumb nuts on servo savers always back off - but in the 40 or so rigs I've owned over the years, I've never had this happen to me. I just don't see how a thumb nut preloading a spring can get loose.

This is like saying your shock absorber preload screws need threadlock. It's utter fallacy.

The Lee Spring works, the spec is right - if anything I would understand it if people wanted a slightly lower rate on the spring because it really doesn't take any prisoners! 😝

That being said, my servo survived following my 50mph impact with a kerb during a speed run in the rain using the Lee Spring. It would have been a very different story with a clamped down stock spring with no space between the coils. 👍

Full opposite lock. 50 mph + and sideways into a kerb 😱😬. Ouch.

Result? A scuffed wheel. The video of it is on my channel.

Yeah, horses are no f@#£&#g joke. Copy that. That's a very nasty head injury and I do hope things fully improve over time.

Here's my channel buddy.

Can’t tell ya how many surgeons specialists etc I’ve seen in the last 18months but I’m still 8 above. Way I look at it could be a lot worse and bad feelings towards the horse she was defending herself from my gelding who for whatever reason didn’t like her. I just had a unfortunate accident stuff happens
