Hey all,

I went to swap out pinions. It seemed easy until it came to actually removing the pinion.

I took out the grub screw and it still does not want to budge. I tried removing the other bolt to the motor mount but it's very hard to get to, given it's location.

Should I apply some heat to the pinion with a soldering iron to resolve residual thread lock?
Or will something else work better?

Thanks in advance!

Put some heat on it. There could be some extra locktide on there that keeps it in place. Never happened to me btw.
