Kagama No reverse at throttle d/r settings below 75%

I recently put a DumboRC receiver in my Kagama 6S. I wanted the option to quickly dial down throttle before I hand the controller to my kids.

However, I lose brake/reverse whenever the dual rate dial goes below 75%. I’ve tried calibrating the transmitter and then the ESC but that didn’t help. This is a DumboRC X6PM transmitter with an X6FG receiver by the way. Is this a limitation because the transmitter signal doesn't reach a certain threshold to trigger reverse when throttled?

Has anyone successfully managed to limit the throttle on a Kagama 6s to where it goes around 10km/h at full throttle, but with the ability to brake/reverse?

You could leave the dual rate where it is and try running it on 3S?

To be honest I haven't tried it on 3S so I will give that a go, but I'm not sure that will drop the speed to around 15 km/h. My youngest is still pretty small, (and so is our yard) so I'm really looking to drop it down to walking/running speed.

Might be that running it 3S and d/r at 75% gives you want you need.

Instead of changing the dual rate, you can also just lower the CH2 endpoints
