Also if ordering make sure you get the “long” version as the hub is longer. There is a long and short version. I didn’t know so if anyone else is looking for parts make sure you get the long one
Believe those the same used on Syncro people didn’t seem have issues with those not sure why they changed them.

So keen to give it a good run today, it’s bloody pouring rain. It’s all ready to go but haha
Does anyone know where to get clear bodies from ?

Super new to Rc vehicles but have been a mechanic my whole life thankfully retired now. I have just designed a complete fix for the Cv outter joint, I also lost the center point but am going to machine one tomorrow. Like y'all only my left side axle has popped out but within 10 minutes each time with the last loosing the center. I have 4 on order that I will be doing my modification to, with it the small center pin is threaded on one side of the CV hub. I will be posting a video how to soon but happy to share my fix if any are interested

Someone else posted a vid about about on another forum I haven’t watched it myself but it may be useful to others with the issue.

I have seen those videos but wanted to make a bullet proof fix. Nice also to grab a screwdriver unscrew the new pin if for some reason I need that released. Hopefully I should finish making the center shaft doing my modification and can play some tomorrow. New center diff and axles arrive Wednesday

Of course I haven’t used any 3D printed parts on Rc cars but have on Rc Jets that hasn’t worked out durability wise for me. Here’s a pic of a support for the front landing gear on my 90mm Raptor. Wondering if 3D printed parts will hold up with impacts or debris, on my brace it shattered so I made one from plywood that after 30 flights is still like new

Have a look at my build thread, when used in the right places, with a good design and material choice 3D printing can be really strong. These pin retainers could definitely be strong enough if printed in the right material.

I do like your fix aswell though. Are you going to make a build thread? I love to see some creative modifications.

And have any more pics of those planes?

Contact TC support they will send out the new front CV repair kit, I installed mine on my Spark last night. I know was meant for the Kagama4 but it’s been bulletproof since my mod. The CV update kit super easy to do, I just ran a full pack in the wide body Spark zero issues and I’ve snapped pins all kinds of things until I did like TC before there fix to make a longer center CV pin. TC warranty department is amazing second to non

Something I just saw on the Kagama4, Saturday when my grandson somehow broke the steering rack I had 2 spares for my Spark now guys I was rushing the repair didn’t notice then the racks are different sized. Still worked but as can be seen not is she toed out big time, went through parts and if you do like me you will need to install adjustable tie rods or add Spark fixed tie rods to straight out the steering. Weird as this sounds it steers like it’s on rails with the Spark rack and Lee servo saver spring
