my max 8 esc overheats on kronos xtr 2022 only have a 12 tooth pinion on the motor . 5 minutes and the car just stops :cautious:
 
What are you running for batteries? No plug adapters right? Sometimes electronics will overheat if they're not getting enough power from the supply side.
 
Not sure what the translation is for the above post, but guessing it's referring to 2200kv motor(;))? What is the setup you're running with the max8(OP)?

Ah, I see. Thanks. I didn't read any mention from the OP that they are actually running a max8 "combo".
 
max 8 2200kv motor 6s mite have to go down to an 11 tooth see what happens. did a 10 or 15 foot jump and it just cut out in the air not good really broke the wing mount :cautious:

also got a high speed fan on the esc 28000 rpm

go to Jennys for inexpensive replacement
 
jennys rc is great but I am thousands of miles away thanks anyway there cheap enough in uk (y)
