Hi guys,

Just about the pull the plug on a Kagama but am slightly concerned about parts support in the UK.

I like to order some spares with a new RC and I cant find a few things like spare spur gear and arms, do people find this a problem ?. Where do you get a spare spur gear for the Kagama from ?.

Also if anyone can confirm what hobbywings programme card works with the esc ?.

Thanks

Don't they ship from Belgium or is it too expensive?
They do ship from Belgium, but it's prohibitively expensive unless you place a suitably large order.

Someone very kindly gave me a voucher for free HD out drives. Sadly, the shipping equalled the voucher! 🤣

Hi guys,

Good choice! The 6s trucks are an absolute blast.
Not sure you'll need much in the way of spares immediately. Not wanting to upset the bashing gods 🤭, but the drive train is pretty good and seems to last well.
Arms have lasted well too (no crash failures yet), so no rush for these.
I would be tempted to get some shock related spares - shock pistons, (even the HD versions can fail if you're landing from low-Earth orbit), and shock shafts can snap, so some of these spare with some HD rod ends would be useful, or just pick up a complete set of shocks for the spares bag.
And you'll probably want a spare spoiler and mount.

Oh, and blue loctite the wheel nuts as they will fall off.

The hobbywing LCD box works (with the red LED display) and makes it so much easier than counting beeps.

Just had to leave the EU, didn't you? 🤣
Yep, nothing like standing in the long queue at the airport passport control 🤦‍♂️

Here's what you need - win win:

Closed 17mm Serrated Wheel Nuts

I've just ordered another couple of sets for the XTR and the T2E.

The closed end stops muck from entering the open end of your driveshaft and fouling up the grub screw that holds you drive pin.

The serrated edges grip your wheel - once you've tightened them, they ain't coming off!

I use RC Answer ones on my Xray. They're exactly the same, but drilled. 😅

You can buy direct from Corally now as they dropped their shipping to 9 euros or thereabouts.. I just bought a heap and I'm in Australia.. Go for it mate it's a great truck!

Hi mate, they dropped their price for shipping a little while back to 9 euros which made it more competitive.. Before they were going to charge me over over 20 euros for some of those red anodised countersink washers worth 4 dollars!

Thanks for update - worth bearing in mind. I note that there a few Kronos XTR parts which were out of stock are now back in again. 👍
