Guys I would like to remove the esc torox 185 from my shogun, I don't figured if it is glued or fixed by screws... Moreover I tried to remove the 3 cable but they are very very difficult to disconnect. Could you give me some help?
Thank you

Had to same problem. There are just very difficult to pull out. Try to twist them a bit and pull hard. Once out, you can use a plier and very gently squeeze them a TINY BIT. This should help in future cases when you want to pull the cables.

However, I recommend that you use 3M dual lock for mounting your ESC to the plastic mount. Being on a layer of dual lock aids isolating the ESC from vibrations. As a bonus, you can remove and mount it to different rigs very easily.

As for the motor wires into the ESC - they're tight - very tight, so they need twisting/pulling and bit by bit and they'll edge out.

Mind your knuckles when they do suddenly give up! 😅

Will the 3m actually hold the esc during bad crashes and tumbles? Is it the tape or velcro version?

I've always screwed mine down or made a custom mount, but if there's an easier way to swap the escs between rigs I'd rather do that.

Yes, it will. You can literally pick the rig up by the ESC using 250. Using 400, you'll need to pry it off.

It's effectively VHB adhesive, with Dual Lock 'velcro'. Unlike velcro, which consists of 'Hook' and 'Loop', dual lock interlocks with itself.

In other words, you don't have put one type onto your chassis and the opposite type on to your ESC.

I use dual lock for my drones too.

There are 3 lock strengths, based on the stem count. If it worries you - pick the highest grip dual lock.

Every pit box needs this. It makes for super clean installs.

Batteries, ESC, Switch, GPS - all can be held in with this stuff. 😎

Remember these?

Dual lock is essentially based on this concept.
