What fans should I buy for my Kagama 6s cars?
And I guess while I am asking what fans should I get for my Kagama 4s cars?

Your kagama 6 is the limited edition going by your previous posts it has a fan mount for 30mm fans. You could also use 30mm fans on your 4s cars maybe get them cheaper buying in bulk. I pick mine up on AliExpress but I prefer to use 40mm fans. Adu fan mount I’m using with mine

Ahh very cool, thank you for your reply
I have both a Kagama LE and a Kagama 6s
.... And 2 4s Kagama.
I love how you have mounted the fans on the LE!
I've seen YouTube videos of people mounting them on top, and I thought it was a bit strange. The way you have mounted them makes more sense.
Are they the Corally fans on the LE?

I don’t have an LE just stole those pics of corally site, but yes they are the corally 30mm fans. They all pretty generic you’ll pick up surpass hobby fans for cheaper , identical except for logos

I just found this on AliExpress: £1.54 | Rocket RC Fan 25mm 30mm 35mm 40mm 50mm SURPASS HOBBY Heat Dissipation Cooling Fan for for 1/10 1/8 Brushless Motor RC Car Part.

I used 2 fans and the carbon fan covers from a surpass dual fan clip on mount - but the actual clamping mount is a clamping Yeah Racing type (whilst exactly the same - unbranded) which is finned AND has gaps for air to circulate through and around the motor.

On my Losi 22X-4 Elite, which I really must get an ESC/Motor for, the cooling fans fit with one over the motor, and the other at the rear to exhaust hot air from under the body.

So, I bought some of these fans.
What is the best way to connect these.
On my arema kraton, they have a connector from the ESC that a fan can connect to.
Do I need an adaptor of some description?
Or do I need to solder them to the ESC fan connector?

Oooh a Y lead
What's that
😂
Or more to the point,.where do I get one.
.... Waiting for @AggyMi to post a AliExpress link
😂

Just ordered this combo, only with the 5.5t motor. 🤩👌

That should scoot along nicely. Now I just need fans, and a couple of 2S batteries. 😎

Just plug them into a free terminal in your receiver or can use a y splitter from the esc.

Y-lead:

Any online model shop will have them.

I've got a giant bag of them here somewhere, which I use with my large-scale planes.

Is there a difference in plugging into the ESC or receiver?
Yes. The plug in your ESC is currently supplying the fan for the ESC. If you unplug this and use a Y-lead, one fan would be for the ESC, the other for the motor.

I use dual fans on my motor, so I use a spare channel on my receiver, with the Y-lead, and connect both my motor fans.

In this way, the ESC gets a fan and my motor gets 2.

Personally I think it's neater this way.

The fans draw very low current, so it really doesn't bother the receivers I use - generally Futaba R603FS with diversity antennas at 6v.

Speaking of which - these FASST receivers are getting rarer (and much more expensive), but I bought one from the US recently in excellent condition for about $40 plus shipping. 🤩👌

All my rigs have their own receiver, but I'm so tempted to run the Sand Scorcher around the lawn. Obviously without the body - I'll get a lexan one. 😅

🤔
Now I need to work out how to fix fans to the 4s Kagamas.
Do I need one of these
