Do any of you have issues with the Corally center diffs leaking a little? Seems no matter what I do it's always moist from around the black center gear:unsure: .

The countersunk screws are prone to back-out a little. They lead a very hard life indeed. When they start to loosen, the diff will leak.

My XTR has done it once. My centre diff is alloy, so I used threadlock on them once I'd degreased the countersunk screws with alcohol.

I'll have to try it. I thought they were tight. I didn't want to strip them.

Had the same issue - the csk screws had backed out and the diff syrup had spun out and coated the chassis and everything else. I cleaned, refilled, re-built with blue loctite (aluminium case).

Mine has always seeped a bit since new. Then I had a screw back out and make contact with the motor mount and lock up my driveline..bent the screw right proper. I cleaned everything up, replaced the bent screw and carried on. Still leaks, I just live with it.
FWIW all TC 6s come with an aluminium center diff cup. A nice touch over plastic for durability IMO. I've never melted a plastic diff cup but it definitely can be done.

Who knows, it may just need some shimming. In which case shims are relatively cheap. Worth a shot for sure. I want to also clarify that $40 for the Arrma parts was ring and pinion gears. But still, it doesn't take long for the parts to add up to more than the whole when a kit breaker sells the whole thing for $38.
