hey guys!! I couldn’t find the “syncro” thread so I posted here on the spark thread lol. So I have a syncro4 and I love it.. so much I sold my armmas and am looking to get and asuga and a spark. Anyways my question is have any of you guys had problems with the steering rack bending?? I noticed today ( after a good bash and two full packs) that my toe out on driver side wheel was angled out more that ps and also could not steer all the way to the right and my steering was favored to the left.. thought it was my servo saver.nope. thought it was my pivot balls that needed tightening but that only made the steering bind up then I noticed both ends of the steering rack where the arms connect were angled down ( a lot more on the left side ) which I would assume would create resistance when trying to steer right fully.. do they make a 7075 steering rack that will fit and also any thoughts and opinions or simailair experiences would help please and thanks again guys!!🤙

Awesome thanks guys!! As for the damage report.. steering rack is definitely bent and I found where it’s binding the steering up when I’m trying to turn right fully.. I’m going to take it apart right now and bend it back straight until I get a 7075 rack.. no lawn darting till then 🤣🤣

Ok.. she’s back together and steering is perfect again!! Also the crazy toe out on the driver side has angled back in and the car looks aligned properly again. Thanks for your help guys!🍻🏁

There's very little room with Corally rigs around their steering setups.

From new, I had to shave the transmission case on both sides to allow the steering plate (Ackerman plate) to clear.

With my chassis now with 0 degrees kick, there was even less room to play with.

Note the chamfered edge. I did this both sides.

To allow the necessary clearance now with 0° kick, I've had to fettle here on the transmission case as well:

The steering rack is prone to bending if people clamp their servo saver all the way down. 👍
