Ah, that's what was sitting under the table in your xtr pic, I was wondering 🤔
I do love the ladder type frame on that rig, very interested in that truck as well as what it'll take from the HW4985👍 please do keep us posted.
 
That motor will most likely destroy the stock center diff. I'm looking into a couple of options and when I get it all sorted out I'll do a full write up.
 
My son blew the center diff out with just the stock 2000kv motor on 6s. We replaced with the "hardened " option gears. Time will tell how they hold up .

I am guessing that is a homemade "strap" for the motor can???

I've seen some posts over on AF from @Megasty of some upgrades he's done with his.
I really do like the true mt design of this truck, unfortunately my budget is blown for the near future, so I'll have to enjoy the Hyper MT through y'alls experiences. 👌
