After playing around with the Sketer a bit, it started to scratch an itch with these brands being incapable of giving us a true 1/10 6s beefy monster truck. So I took the V1 Dementor that I blew the center diff & cut it up. There's way too much going on with this thing but I'll get around to all that later. It has super beefy Mojave arms & an Arrma battery tray. It also has a 46t aluminum center diff. I'm fairly certain it will be awesome on 4s & a nutball on 6s, if it ever see 6s. Even with all the beef, it's still light & the chassis is only 14.5" long. I'm probably going to attach more front bracing to equal out the rear bracing.

Dude your an animal!!!!
Thats awesome man I can wait to see it rollin!!!

That's a pretty decent job on the aluminum "brazing". Did you use MAP gas? What brand of rods? Flux?

Just an FYI, in case you want to stock up on project chassis; Jennys RC has Kronos 7075 chassis on the cheap.
I've got two on the way for future projects.

Nah, I wasn't going to try MAP on parts this small. I used a TIG with an alumasteel #2 rod. I only brazed the front rod end to the brace & left the rear rod end a bolt on. I actually had to bolt it on the truck since there was a serious gap between the material & the steel was arcing. For some reason, it didn't arc when it was on the truck or when I took it off to do the underside.

I really need to remember to clean my phone's camera b4 taking pictures  Anyway, I'm done with the side guards & chassis - but that chassis was easily the worst I ever polished. Pitted & blued from the anodizing process. It took almost 2 hrs of hand sanding to fix it.

It's been raining & turning my fields into swamplands for the past 3 days so I got a ton of work done. Usually when I'm working on so many cars at once, I go crazy & have to get out and bash, but the constant thunderstorms were a great deterrent. Anyway, I went a little WIDE on this one since I already had the short hub setup on the Siren. So it's 17.5" wide with the Kaiju tires, something the Sketer could only dream of. I'm going to have to get another Torox185 system for it since I have no idea if the blx185 will even work.

This thing is a few ounces short of 11lbs so it should have the weight to hold the power down. It'll definitely be wide & stable enough.

Don't get me wrong, that's cool and all but my wide Sketer comes in at 18.25" on stock Sketer tires.

So, if this is a measuring contest...

Ofc, it'll be that wide if you use the Kronos arms, & this isn't a Sketer. It only has a 290mm wheelbase.
