I don't like the wheel extenders though, no need for that on an Asuga there's plenty of room for a 65mm tire with no offset.

This is what an Asuga with GRP tires and the wheel adapters looks like. I don't like the visibly wider stance.

But you could use these no offset adapters if you trim about 6~8mm off the end of the CVD shafts and rear drive cup shafts with a dremel cutoff wheel:

That would be very expensive unless you buy a front/rear drive set from Jennys RC, which they are sold out of now. In the future when they get more stock I will make a drive set for the GRP tires. In the meantime I got the Sprint RXA tires, they seem to be hard slick rubber probbaly bad on smooth concrete or straight speed runs but should hold up to bashing and drifting on rough asphalt better.

An alternative option might be to use a square 18mm block printed in SLS nylon by JLCPCB with a hole in it for the pin and have the CVD shaft pass through the M8 hole in the tire for lateral support and secure it at the end of the CVD shaft with an M4 bolt and a fender washer on the outside using the threads in the end of the shaft for the M4 setscrew.

I already ordered the HD front rear knuckles that will give the Spark a little wider stance and of course I have the Spring steel hub cups already on hand. Hopefully Monday they will arrive.

Are those on-road tires? They have treads like all terrain tires and my driving style on rough asphalt tends to bald all terrain and offroad tires in a few packs. I loooove doing slides and drifts and that just grinds down prominent treads.

GRP tires are junk I put a set of the 100mm on my Hobao Hyper GTB and this happened first pack just driving around a parking lot, waste of money.

The new style ones really went downhill, they're balanced near perfect but don't stay glued on like the previous version, I still run them but sand the edges and add additional glue as well as run fishing line down the treads, shouldn't have to but they at least hold up that way relatively well cause once they let go they stretch and are junk.

dude you’ve never anything positive to say & always seem to find a negative in everything lol the vid you posted of the Asuga doing 100mph is running them no issues I watch innovation rc channel saw him run 120mph+ with them although he has had blowouts in past but I bet you could find someone that’s had a blowout on any manufacturers tire just part & parcel of the game it happens. But if want another alternative vrp tires released a similar looking tire to the Grp how good they are no idea not tried them but only for 1/8

What would you say if you had a brand new set of tires come unglued on the first pack? Hard to see any positive in that. Checking the comments on Hobbyheroes (which is where I bought them) a lot of people have had similar issues.

Also, the glue is supposed to be "guaranteed" but the manufacturer has ignored my email.

I was not doing speed runs just driving around a parking lot, not even close to pushing them when this happened.

The last set of cheapo Amazon tires/wheels are actually still holding up hard to believe. I have been carful on throttle management with them actually very happy especially for the money

These are pretty good if you are willing to put in the work strapping the inside with a double layer of gorilla tape so they don't balloon. They make great street tires for the Asuga. If you don't strap them they turn egg shaped on 6S though.

EDIT: the actual diameter is about 136mm not 144mm.

I learned how from this video:

With these tires the tape is narrower than the width of the tire but it doesn't matter just tape the center and it's good. This isn't quite as good as real belted tires it will expand by a few mm at high RPM but it's like 95% as good and way cheaper.
