Sup guys I currently have the stock CT2R transmitter and receiver in my Kagama 6s. I seen this
and though he talks about the Flysky fs-gt3b, he also mentions the Flysky fs-gt3c https://www.flysky-cn.com/fsgt3c . I was wondering if anyone here has or had the gt3c or even gt3b? I'm curious about that model. Also I'm looking for opinions about other models or brands. Let's say $100 USD.

I think there’s a newer version the gt5 bit more up to date. Another popular budget radio is the dumbo rc ddf350, it’s what I have. Get either on AliExpress under $100

I agree with @Nelson.81, there's better radios out there, I owned several gt3b's back in the day and they were decent at the time, range was rather limited and not sure if it was common but I know after prolonged use the ones I had wouldn't return to center very well. Currently I'm running a radiolink rc6gs, it's got a somewhat cheap feel but it's a great radio, lots of features, excellent range, not very expensive, can get receivers with or without gyro's, lots of good more modern options out there in the price range you're looking at

Radio link good transmitter would love an rc8x but the rc4 would come in under budget also but really the ddf350 the way to go

Yeah it's a nice unit, especially for general bashing and price. I went with the radiolink for speed running, 600m range was the selling point for me, all my bashers just have the lesser receivers but those are still claiming 400m which I don't need for them but nice I guess considering I've yet to lose signal with it.

Thanks brothers! Your right there's a lot of options and I know you guys won't "STEER" me wrong... ahahaha little transmitter joke 😃... so other then jumping, I like to rip trails! Nothing better in my opinion then a nice dirt road with whoops and crazy turns to drift. I love building trails damn near as much as i do ripping through them. Would a gyro receiver help/hinder this? I believe the gyro helps with stability at higher speeds but I'm still learning so someone LEARN ME!! If there was a School of RC I'd pay for that education no problem 🤣🤣

A gyro can be adjusted 0-100% or turned off completely via transmitter just need to install a gyro capable receiver.

So it's best to get a gyro receiver and see what happens? Lol I feel as though the gyro would fight against certain maneuvers. I guess that's why it can be dialed to a rate right? To avoid interference?

Yes in a nutshell also rc drifters use them helps them maintain angle without spinning out.

Jason Perrin rc uses it on his Asuga I’ll dig out a vid later post it.

Nice thank you both of you! So looks like dumborc ddf350 will be the winner! Your saying you use the xf6g receiver with the ddf350?

This video shows the gyro in action really well! I definitely need that for the kagama! Can't keep the beast straight til its moving! That's only 4s too! Not sure if the stock tires will have more grip... I'm running Dboots Ragnarok.. harder rubber then stock and more tread pattern then nobby like stock tires.. I'll find out soon enough!

Yes when you’re buying the transmitter there’s usually a choice of which receivers, just select the one you want. The ddf350 also has choice of grips. I got mine from with metal grip AliExpress you can’t select the xf6g with it I got the x10fg with mine but it bit bigger & bit of tight squeeze in corally receiver box.i had some spare receivers swapped it out for the xf6g. I would recommend select one the smaller ones with a gyro but what the difference is between all the receivers is your guess as good as mine.

I just found this on AliExpress: £54.73 | DUMBORC DDF-350 10CH RC Remote Controller 2.4G Digital Radio Transmitter Gyro Receiver for Drift Car Tank Boat Robot Toy Wltoy

You can drop some real money quickly in this area but I generally don’t use enough of the functionality to justify it. 99% of the time I use a 350. I have 3 track cars that I run on a Noble in local club races but there’s not a need for range. Everything else I run for fun is an a 350. There are a lot of other good choices too but generally I can get a 350 for a good price. It’s also the one I gift and or give away the most to friends that want a step up from stock. Although, I honestly wasn’t disappointed with the stock Kagama unit, it’s just felt bulky and not quite right to me. Best of luck. 👍

I run the DumboRC ddf-350
I owned a Rlaarlo CT8A and it worked for 75 days and now gives a constant phantom -1200 signal to channel 1
I also have owned the DumboRC X6, which I liked, but the single model memory bugged me.
I got the DDF-350 for maybe $70 on AliExpress with a 10 channel receiver.
I love the ddf-350 because you have 2 actual physical dials that you can program to be the gyro gain or steering trim.
If you get the DDF-350 I recommend powering it with a 2s battery with a jst plug.
I'm really happy with mine, but please note I have only ever run those 3 different transmitters, so I'm not the most knowledgeable at all.

Ordering tonight! Most likely off aliexpress unless I find better price elsewhere... doubt it lol. I'm glad I got that issue resolved. Honestly I'm bumping the BEC to 7.4 in a few here. Then tomorrow running stock tires and see the difference, if any.
